Coro Perosi is a non-profit making music organization established since 1997. Since then, we had organized several concerts and had been invited for performances in Hong Kong and Zhongshan. By year 2002, we had participated in the 6th International Music Festival in Beijing, China; and had won the copper prize. Besides regular practices, we also invite individual voice soloists to train our members. We are an energetic choir in Macau.

Concert by the Coro Perosi "Music ‧ Affection"
will be held on October 19-20
The Coro Perosi Annual Concert 2024 is themed ‘Music • Affection’, introducing audiences to Macao local and classic choral works in our two performances. We first bring you Missa Regina Pacis, a rediscovered work that has been scrupulously verified to have been composed by Fr. Schmid SDB for the Coronation at Sheshan Shrine in Shanghai, where Fr. Cesare Brianza served as the conductor in the 1947 liturgy. These two priests, who served in the Diocese of Macao, made significant contributions to the development of local music. Other pieces covered include God's affection for humanity ('Ave Verum Corpus'), humanity's affection for God ('Cantate Domino'; 'Miserere Mei, Deus'), humanity's affection for Our Lady (2 'Ave Maria' works), affection between people ('All for Love of One'), and humanity's affection for our Mother Nature ('Morning Hymn'; 'Look at the World')
